Sally’s journey into the world of floral design began with a deep-rooted passion for nature and a love of foraging (hence “Gather the Wild”). While living in Connecticut, Sally learned to forage for wild edibles like morel mushrooms and ramps. She also began working on flower farms and fell in love with the beauty of locally grown flowers and floral design. She had a vision to bring the beauty of nature and seasonal flowers into peoples’ lives. She created Gather the Wild to blend her skills as a floral designer with her love for cultivating local cut flowers on her small flower farm.
Sally’s creations as a floral designer are an extension of her surroundings: organic, elegant, and brimming with the essence of the seasons. Whether it’s crafting bespoke bouquets for weddings, curating arrangements for events, or simply brightening someone’s day with a custom arrangement, Sally infuses each creation with her signature style and a touch of the wild.
